Artist Statement
Alyson's work can be described as formal portraiture. She has a way of isolating a person within an environment of a photograph in an interesting and visually pleasing way through use of formal composition, technically savvy lighting and a trusting rapport with her subject matter. She lends well to people of all ages and all walks of life due to her charming, unarmed, down to earth personality and spunky humor.
